The Academy will be closed on Easter Monday, giving students and staff an extra day to rest and enjoy time with family and friends. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday!
Orange Shirt Day
Orange Shirt Day, held on September 30th (but recognized on September 29th due to the statutory holiday on the 30th), honors the Indigenous children who were taken from their families and forced into Canada’s residential school system. It’s a day of remembrance, reflection, and a commitment to truth and reconciliation—symbolized by the orange shirt, which represents the loss of identity, culture, and dignity experienced by survivors.
